Rogue LX205B 5 String Bass Reviews 5

I play drums, but I'm slowly buying more and more gear. Instruments, pedals, softwares, microphones. I'm sure that if you are reading this review you might suffer the same addiction. All part of the home studio era we are living in. This Rogue 5 string is the very first bass guitar I purchased. It's price first scared me a little bit. I definitely thought it would be a waste of money getting it, but I was wrong.

I paid something around $130 on musiciansfriend.com.

The best features of this bass guitar are definitely its feel and price. I thought it would be impossible to buy a bass with 5 strings with a price under $400 bucks, the chinese industry proved me wrong. Surprisely, this bass sounds really good.

I had to exchange my first order since it had a slight problem on one of the tone knobs. The second arrival worked just great.

I bought the pearl black finish one. It's well built and the neck feels great, very similar to an expensive brand one. Comes with two pick ups (2 volume and 2 tone controls) and die-cast machine head

If you are on budget, buy this bass guitar. It won't disappoint you. Great feel and price.

Pearl white, black hardware. NICE paint. Comes with roundwounds. Have played Bass guitar on and off for 40 years. Backed up friend's bands when the bassist couldn't make the gig/practice. Play for fun. Mostly play Classic Rock, emphasis on early 3 man power groups like Blue Cheer, Cream, the Hook.

Got it online after lots of research, from Musician's Friend new, on sale for 99 bux right after Christmas 2009. Needed an inexpensive knock-around 5 string.

An excellent piece of equipment for the price. Could use a skoash of adjustment to be perfect, but was playable, after tuning, right out of the box.Perfect for Frankensteining.

Nothing to dislike so far. You could use it for gigs. This says I haven't typed 200 words as required, but I've said pretty much all that needs to be said. How about a joke! How many Vikings does it take to change a lightbulb? None. Vikings are not afraid of the dark.

Have heard that the wood is weak, but I have had no strapmounts pull out. OTOH, I don't jump around with it like a crazy monkey, so.... Otherwise, construction seems excellent for the price.

Comes with a cable and allen wrenches. It's not a carbon fiber Entwhistle, but it doesn't cost 4Kbux.Cannot be beat for the price. The price has gone back to $129 bux, (as of MAY 20, 2010) still a bargain.

I WAS LOOKING TO JOIN A BAND, BUT ALL I COULD FIND WAS POSITIONS PLAYING BASS. I'M A GUITAR PLAYER NOT A BASS PLAYER.I STARTED SHOPPING AROUND FOR A GOOD QUALITY BASS. THE BEST PRICE THAT I COULD FIND WAS WITH MUSICIANS FRIEND ON THEIR ROGUE BASS. THIS BASS LISTS FOR $456.95. I GOT IT FOR $149.99.

I WAS VERY SUPPRISED AT THE QUALITY OF THIS BASS. I CAN GO FROM MUDDY TO CRISP AND CLEAN WITH EASE ON THIS BASS. THEY SAY THIS IS A GOOD BEGINNER BASS,BUT I SAY THIS BASS CAN HANG WITH THE BEST. AND I HAVEN'T SEEN A BETTER PRICE ON A BASS WITH THIS QUALITY. THANK YOU MUSICIANS FRIEND FOR SUCH A GOOD DEAL.

THE ONLY THING THAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS BASS IS IT DIDN'T COME WITH A HARD SHELL CASE. HEY LET'S FACE IT, A JEWEL LIKE THIS SHOULD BE PROTECTED.

THIS BASS SEEMS TO BE BUILT VERY WELL.I LIKE THE LIGHT WEIGHT CONSTRUCTION. PLAYING GIGS FOR FIVE HOURS PER NIGHT IS A BREEZE.

ALL IN ALL YOU CAN'T BEAT A ROGUE BASS,HEY IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME TRY ONE OUT FOR YOURSELF.
